Great Place to Work Finland Implemented Pipedrive Effectively with the Help of Zimple

In the fall of 2020, Great Place to Work Finland faced a challenge: the old CRM system no longer served the organisation and the team in the best possible way. As a former Pipedrive user, the Head of SaaS Sales at Great Place to Work, Sini Raininko, knew that Pipedrive was a functional and handy CRM system, so the choice of Pipedrive as the new CRM system was straightforward. However, it had been a few years since Sini last used it.

Thanks to the well-done groundwork, it was easy to start building a functional entity with Zimple’s team.

“As far as my work is concerned, it has been a great help that Henriikka and Juho have been involved. We have always been able to ask for help and sometimes spar. Sometimes, we have received tips like ‘You should do it this way, or have you considered that.’ I probably could have done it alone, but some hairs would have been pulled out in the process,” Sini laughs.

Getting help and advice has clearly saved time for real, productive work instead of fiddling with the system.

Automations

Attention was paid to automations together right from the start of the project. How should automations be built in Pipedrive to best support the team’s daily operations? Large entities should not be done at once but assembled from smaller pieces. Here, the help received from Zimple was considered very useful because potentially doing it alone would have made the entity too large and complex at once.

Thanks to the automations, customer relationships move smoothly forward in the pipeline. Reminders and the automation of easy and small, but easily lingering routine tasks facilitate the daily work of the Great Place to Work team. Custom-built pipelines enable the whole team to stay on track about the stage of each customer relationship, research, or project.

Pipedrive works well not only as a tool for sales and customer relationship management but also in lightweight project management.

Reporting

The daily life of the GPTW team also consists of a lot of reporting, which was previously mainly done using Excel. As all the required reports could not be run from the previous CRM system, Pipedrive’s diverse reporting options received great praise from Sini.

Creating and sharing reports with Pipedrive is super easy, according to Sini, speeding up reporting and making it more transparent. In short: “Eases everyday life.”

Especially the new feature launched by Pipedrive in the spring of 2021, which allows for easy sharing of report templates via links, has facilitated daily work. Reporting options are diverse and include several features.

“However, it’s important to be aware of what exactly you want to report and what information you want out of the report,” Sini states. Understanding the logic of different data fields is key in this matter.

“With Pipedrive, we have been able to ensure that projects reach their goal. In addition, we have received sparring help from Zimple, and occasionally, someone also challenges us, asking whether it’s worth doing things this way or if it would be better to do it that way. 

The professional perspective has been valuable, especially regarding a CRM project, as things get done right the first time, and there’s no need to do it five times ourselves. Henriikka has been really helpful, and we have quickly received help. We have also done a lot of work together, so we have received help and support throughout the process.”
